在又一場不開心的新年派對之後，提姆·雷克（多姆納爾·格里森）的父親（比爾·奈伊）在他滿21歲時告訴他，這個家庭裡所有的男人都有回到自己回憶中任何時間旅行的能力，在他的生活中嘗試不同的可能。
